FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, is the world governing body for basketball, is an independent association formed by 213 National Basketball Federations throughout the world.
FIBA is a non-profit organization. FIBA`s mission is to develop and promote the game of basketball. FIBA`s headquarters are in Mies, Switzerland.
FIBA Europe eV is created under the General Statutes of Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). The members of FIBA Europe form the European Zone of FIBA.
FIBA Europe is organized as a registered non-profit Association under German law. The name of the Association is "FIBA Europe eV" and is situated in Munich, Germany. FIBA Europe consists of 50 national member federations of FIBA assigned to it by FIBA.
Head of Finance Europe will ensure the correct processing of the financial accounting and will support the deliver of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
This role reports directly to the FIBA Europe Secretary General / Executive Director, leading a team of two.
The successful candidate will be able to draw on comprehensive knowledge of accounting fundamentals as well as strong leadership skills in order to effectively manage the demands of our international sports organization.
