Digital Creation E2E is a strategic board program under the digital umbrella building the must-have adidas creation infrastructure of the future. Focus is to digitize the end-to-end creation-to-shelf value chain, covering marketing, creation, sourcing (supplier integration) and sell-in. In addition it supports the DTC-led ambition in building closer-to-market creation tracks.

It is an integral part of adidas strategy with the clear focus to drive engagement, speed, and one adidas.




This is a key in-house strategy position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented future leader who understands what digital transformation projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.


  • Shape Digital Creation End-2-End (DC E2E) strategy and transformation program holistically across Brand, GOPS and sales functions
  • Develop a vision and roadmap for global implementation of digital solutions and tools and set strategic direction for roll-out of capabilities across brands
  • Connect, drive and support agile execution of the program across workstreams by providing excellence in project management support
  • Build and cultivate high performance team
  • Represent the brand of DC E2E to all communities (e.g. Global Operations, Creation, Sales, Tech)


  • Support overall representation of Digital Creation E2E program and priorities within Brand, GOPS and Sales
  • Drive strategy development process and program portfolio prioritization within the DC E2E functional scope and respective senior leadership
  • Accelerate and challenge overall DC E2E strategy through own impulses
  • Own and manage a digital transformation program portfolio that drives change across functions and business units
  • Drive a larger organization by steering functional experts, product owners and involving key stakeholders
  • Lead multiple (senior) project managers to deliver projects in alignment with strategic direction
  • Effectively manage team and program resources to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
  • Drive Digital Transformation Hub people strategy definition and ensure growth and development of team members
  • Perform line manager role on direct reports (e.g. recruiting, performance appraisal, team approvals, team budget control)
  • Lead coordination and knowledge exchange with other directors of the digital transformation hub


  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure directions are validated, prioritized, aligned and implementation support is provided
  • Independently identify and manage wide network of stakeholders, forge deep relationships across the business, and implement communication strategy
  • Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
    • Product (Creation functions, Footwear, Apparel and A&G product ops, etc.)
    • Markets (SCM and Sales functions) 
    • Marketing (horizontal and vertical BU divisions)
    • GOPS (Global IT, SCM, etc.)
    • Corporate functions

Soft skills:

  • Thought leader with a competitive spirit
  • Compelling executive presence and excellent communication skills with proven ability to motivate, network and influence across business levels effectively
  • Creative, energetic, visionary, able to influence thinking on effective strategies across all levels of the business

Hard skills:

  • Business acumen and in-depth E2E digital knowledge
  • Experience in advance analytics and building up operation models
  • Proven expertise in the brand, sales and sourcing processes
  • Strong leadership profile covering advance management and communication
  • Proven track record on human resource (e.g. talent management) 
  • Industry proven track record on mobilizing organization and driving large-scale projects and change programs
  • Ability to steer and influence the agenda, priorities of the organization

 People management skills:

  • Effectively steer relevant stakeholders, product owners and agile implementation teams
  • Lead and direct team of (senior) project managers
  • Handle all related line management responsibility
  • Coach and mentor team members with people development plan
  • Foster a highly motivational and encourage highly diverse working environment
  • Instil a team culture to discuss topics openly and constructively
  • Support definition and drive people strategy (e.g. recruitment)
  • Empowers individual team members and generates a can-do culture
  • Manage the HR interface
  • Ambassadorship across network


  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in digital transformation environment (e.g. top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, supply chain management)
  • Within which 3+ years of proven track record of large scale program management experience; direct team management mandatory
  • University degree, MBA is a plus
